Inauguration of the new HASCO production hall
One of the largest construction projects in HASCO’s history has taken shape. Work to complete the extension to the production plant at the Römerweg in Lüdenscheid has been at full swing since September 2011. As planned, one of the most modern mould standard production facilities in Europe is commencing operation at the beginning of June 2012.The new hall, equipped with highly-innovative machine technology, was spruced up for an opening ceremony. Around 600 guests, employees with their families, managers from foreign branches as well as the Supervisory Board and Management Board of the Austrian Berndorf Group, which HASCO has been part of since 2007, took up the invitation by the HASCO Management to the opening of the new production facility on June 2, 2012.
Managing Director Mag. Christoph Ehrlich kicked off the inauguration ceremony by welcoming the guests and then thanked all the staff who had played their part in bringing the project to fruition. With a brief statement on the construction project, Production Manager Dipl.-Ing. Dirk Schulte offered some insight into the individual construction phases and the orientation of the new production capacities. An attractive supporting programme with the “Berndorf Jazz Band”, the “Living Planet Band“ and numerous children’s attractions provided suitable entertainment for everyone attending. A rich variety of culinary delights was also on offer. Many fun hours were spent together, and this time it was not work on the agenda but personal enjoyment.
The HASCO Management regard this new construction project as commitment to Germany, and especially the town of Lüdenscheid, as a place to invest. A clear signal of certainty for the entire staff.
